This half-day private tour will take you to discover the wonderful ruins of the ancient Roman city of Ostia, the port and an important commercial hub of ancient Rome.
One of our guides will meet you at your accommodation in Rome, and you will reach Ostia by car in about 40 minutes. The visit to the ruins lasts approximately 2 hours, during which the ghuide will show you ancient restaurants, temples, houses, public baths, streets, and shops. Visiting Ostia is like taking a journey back 2000 years, a real time-machine!
After the visit to the ruins, we will take you to explore a village from the 1500s where, if you wish, you can have lunch at a local restaurant or enjoy a delicious slice of Roman pizza!

The duration of the tour is 5 hours from pickup to return to your accommodation in Rome.
