Theatre of murders, plots and intrigues, the Roman Forum is the very heart of the Imperial city. You will find yourself strolling among the most famous ruins in the world, and when you’re tired you can take a rest, sitting on the remains of a 2000-year-old marble column sipping water from ancient aqueducts! You will also visit the symbol of Rome, the Colosseum, ancient venue for battles between gladiators and wild beasts and other forms of cruel entertainment. One of our licensed Tour Guide will pick you up at your hotel and accompany you to the amphiteatre to describe the deeds of times gone by, taking you back in history to when crazed excited spectators urged men on to fight to the death…
BORGHESE GALLERY
Wandering through the gallery you will be able to admire the private collections of Cardinal Scipione Borghese: Roman statues, paintings by artists such as Raphael, sculptures by Bernini, genius of the 16th century, or the uninhibited works of art by Caravaggio, all housed in a splendid 16th-century villa, residence of Popes and Cardinals. A licensed Tour Guide willl pick you up at your hotel and accompany you to the Gallery where its treasures will be waiting for you….
